Instead of having to carry a lighter in order to be able to smoke a cigarette – or struggle to borrow one every time you want to smoke a tobacco cigarette – you can now carry only the electronic cigarette. You don’t need a cigarette in order to be bale to smoke the electronic cigarette, and instead the device uses lithium batteries as its source of power.

Different batteries for smokeless cigarettes are available on the market. The standard batteries that come with your electronic cigarette starter kit normally have 120mAh to 150mAh power rating; the power is enough for a couple of days under normal use.

If you think the standard battery is not powerful enough, you can either get extra spare batteries or simply buy the extended electronic cigarette battery. The extended battery offers 350mAh of power – over twice as much as the standard battery – and it will power your electronic cigarette for almost a week under normal use.

Those of you who travel a lot and don’t always have a standard electrical socket available may think the extended battery is a must-have. Aside from the extended battery, you can also get the travel charger case with built-in battery. The device can charge up to two electronic cigarette batteries wirelessly and will act as a travel case for storing your electronic cigarette and its refill cartridges.

Of course, different types of electronic cigarette chargers are also available. The basic USB charging cord and wall adapter are usually included in the starter kit. You can extend the charging options by getting a car charger that plugs into car lighter sockets or by getting the USB pass-through device to be able to use the electronic cigarette by simply plugging this accessories to a USB port and get the power directly from that port.
